Project Overview
Hangar One Avionics, Inc. delivered a mission-configured Airbus AS350B3 helicopter to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. Purpose-built for observation, search and rescue, and special missions, the aircraft was outfitted with a next-generation avionics suite, state-of-the-art video and mapping systems, and essential tactical gear to enhance public safety operations across Pinal County, AZ.
The build features a Garmin G500H TXi flight display system, GFC600H autopilot, GI-275 standby display, and SXM weather integration, alongside a full-width instrument panel and custom consoles designed by Hangar One. Mission systems include a Trakka TC-300 camera, TM-100 mapping system, mini cams, and a MacroBlue 17” video display. Communications were reinforced with a dual Garmin GTN650/750 stack, Axnes wireless ICS, sat phone integration, and multiband transceivers. Rescue and tactical equipment includes a Goodrich hoist, modular seating, dual cargo hook system, floor window for vertical reference, NVIS cockpit lighting, advanced searchlights, air-conditioning, and structural enhancements—delivering a high-performance, multi-role asset ready for any mission profile.
